How does epilepsy effect your daily life and football career?

You know I just have to manage my life differently than some other players.  I need to be very strict with my diet and keep everything healthy and clean living.

Have you ever considered surgery?

No – I’ve found ways to manage with medication.

If you had the chance to NOT have seizures would you?

Good question.  No, there’s a reason I have it. I think it’s because I have a platform from which to talk about it.  It’s part of me – makes me who am I am and builds character.

.

What has this condition taught you or change you?

Not to take anything for granted. It made me the man I am today and it’s certainly been the hardest thing in my life but I appreciate adversity and the challenges it brings and the ones that I overcome.

Have your ever wonder what life would have been like if you didn’t have epilepsy?

Not any more.  It’s not worth my time to look back and I’m making something positive out of it.

If there anything you would like to add or say?

Just appreciate you reaching out and asking these questions.  Best to you Brett.

I would like you to thank you for answering my question.
